What did I do with my Friday?

I made a Santa from recycled wool, mohair locks, leather boots and real fur trim. If you like him, he is for sale at Loose Ends.
Staying with the holiday mood, I started a stocking.. This will be our October “Sock of the Month”. I am enjoying it. A simple pattern with enough detail to hold my interest and not become boring.

Last week at knit night, the “shopper” that came in, was she looking for an English driving cap pattern or just some stabilizer for the brim???? I was on knitty.com and they have an English driving cap called Morgan in the fall 08 issue. It does look pretty cool. Maybe will have to try it.
