Loose Ends Yarn Shop

Sock of the month club has been replaced by “technique” classes offered on the first Tuesday of the month……… The format remains the same, this is a ‘DROP IN’ class, no preregistration needed. $5 per student.

The difference is that instead of focusing on socks, we will learn a new technique each month.  For example, Decembers technique is “short rows”, we will learn short rows while making a multi directional scarf.

Our Sock of the month group meets the first Tuesday of the month at 6pm.  Each month we explore a different sock pattern, each with something new to learn.  The group is open to all, but the participant should be familiar with basic sock techniques.  Just $5, No need to sign up, just show up!

Start of rainy day sock

April’s sock of the month is called “Rainy Day Socks’……Please join us at 6 pm on April 7.

 I am using Baby Cashmerino on size 2 circulars.  This pattern is written for 2 circs, but can easily be dadapted to DPNs.  I knit loose,,,, most people will want to use size 3.
