The first is  Sockittome dyed at Ancient Threads Farm. The yarn is 450 in 4 ounces, dyed with natural plants and insects, black walnut, cochineal, etc. Simply beautiful,and not just for socks.

The other yarn is called Alpine Baby, 57% mohair,25% silk and 18% nylon… 1000 yards in 8 ounces.  It is a soft, DK weight boucle, I can’t wait to knit with it!  Nice fall colors…

These mittens are made from repurposed wool sweaters, very warm. Just $20 a pair!

At Loose Ends we have been excited by the new yarns we saw and ordered at the TNNA trade show in June.  Most of the new yarns will arrive closer to fall, but some have come in already… and are fantastic!

We have all the new colorways of sock yarn from Cherry Tree Hill, just gorgeous colors.
